HRE stands for Hydrogen Reservoir Engineering.
HRE combines the specialist expertise and network of both companies, respectively in geoscience engineering and the hydrogen economy.
ABOUT THE HRE TEAM
Isabelle has 20 years experience in the Oil and Gas sector. She started her career as a Research Production Chemist for BP with whom she holds a patent. Isabelle then worked as a Offshore and Research Centre Production Chemist for Clariant, before joining Oilgen as a Reservoir Engineer. Isabelle has gained extensive experience as a numerical reservoir simulation and history-match specialist during the past ten years. Isabelle is a Director of Oilgen and a co-founder of Hydrenor.
Laurent Schirrer has 25 years project management experience in the upstream Oil and Gas sector. His extensive leadership has led to international achievements in geosciences, R&D, field operations, development planning and reserves certifications. Thanks to continuous exposure to his reservoir engineering discipline, he is now one of the most experienced simulation and reserves experts in the sector. Laurent founded Oilgen in 2002 and co-founded clean energy company Hydrenor in 2019.
Jonathan who is also a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh, is a Hydrogen Consultant at HRE. Jonathan, a geoscientist who studied on the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) MSc at Edinburgh University, previously published a paper in the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control. His current research, co-financed by Hydrenor, investigates storing hydrogen underground in porous rocks using computer simulations. Jonathan completed several business case studies for Hydrenor in 2019.
